Larry is one of our largest personalities here at LU, we often say he is a big dog in a small dog’s body! He is a confident little dude, plenty of personality, extremely cheeky, and with lots of love to give. He is originally from Romania and went to a home which sadly for them could not offer the right environment for Larry. This boy would do well either in a home with an already established, confident dog, or as an only dog in an experienced and active home. He is also best in a home that have a garden, although he is small, we would not place him in a flat.

He came to us somewhat reactive to other dogs and strangers too, but we are doing a lot of training with him and he is responding beautifully. He now goes to town on lovely walks as you can see from the videos. He just needs a confident handler. He is incredibly intelligent and has the potential to become a perfectly behaved little boy. He needs an active home that will keep his brain occupied and who will take him on lots of adventures too. He will try to take charge if allowed, but he responds well to our training plan and we are looking for someone looking to
continue this with him. He will be an extremely rewarding little dog to have, a real fun character with a lot of affection to give. He is very busy as he is young and would love things like agility, or any form of training. He will however need boundaries, and therefore requires a confident person or people to give him love but set boundaries too. He will thrive as an only dog in the home. Larry has lived in a home so is house trained.

Larry is looking for an adult only home, as an only dog in the home. Larry will need to continue his reactivity training once he is in his new home. He will thoroughly enjoy doing activities that will keep him active and stimulated, this pooch can go the distance!

This young boy is an absolute gem, he will provide you with endless love, cuddles, entertainment, and fond memories that you will never forget. He will have you up running around the garden before sinking into your lap for a snooze once the fun is done. To those who adopt Larry, you will gain a very special dog in your life, one that is not only a dog, but a true best friend.

NOTE:
All our dogs go on home trial for two weeks before an adoption. We offer post adoption support and access to a behaviourist and trainer for the life of our dogs.
